Maritime Students’ Career Choices – WG1 Project Team Meeting

Maritime Students’ Career Choices – WG1 Project Team Meeting

An engaging and productive RethinkBlue meeting focused on the results of the international study on maritime students’ motivations and career plans took place at Solent University, Southampton, UK, on 3–4 July. Hosted by Dr. Helen Devereux, the event brought together members of Working Group 1 – Maritime Occupations: Dr. Ana Slišković (project leader), Dr. Birgit Pauksztat, Dr. Lijun Tang, and Dr. Ioannis Katsounis.

The two-day meeting featured in-depth discussions of the study’s findings, collaborative planning for several scientific publications, and a warm celebration of Dr. Katsounis’s birthday — all set against the backdrop of beautiful summer weather.
